The Travel Xtreme is similar in texture and construction to the Dogs Fun Run Travel. However, it also has a second belly strap and attachment points for the carabiners. The carabiners secure the dog at two points with this harness.
Thanks to the two-point securing system, the dog can only slide forward a few centimeters in the event of emergency braking or an accident. The shorter the distance, the smaller the force acting on the dog, which increases the chance of an unharmed dog. Nevertheless, your dog can lie, stand and sit on the seat.
The straps are very robustly sewn on the Travel Xtreme, and the light alloy buckles, which cannot be opened under tension, guarantee the dog's safety. The closures have a tensile strength of 300kg per closure.
We strongly advise against using an adapter! This will hurl the dog from the seat during emergency braking - in this flight phase, the dog's body weight multiplies!
This is how it works:
1. insert the buckle tongue into the buckle and ensure that it engages correctly.
2. attach the two carabiners to the seat belt. The front carabiner is attached to the upper part of the seat belt and the rear carabiner to the lower part.
3. make sure that the seat belt is as short as possible.
