Thanks to the special cut of the sled dog harness, your dog can move completely freely when pulling. Both the shoulder and elbow joints, the entire spine, as well as the lumbar and cervical vertebrae are completely free, which guarantees complete freedom for the dog's musculoskeletal system and movement.
The sophisticated connection system with the roller allows free movement of the shoulders; the harness does not restrict your dog in any position, so your dog can run in the position that suits him and his musculoskeletal system.
Like our other harnesses, the sled dog harness is also made from one piece of fabric to avoid pinching seams and hard parts.
The snap fasteners each hold 130 kilograms - also available with light alloy fasteners on request.
The neck part is padded so that the neck circumference can be adjusted according to the dog's musculature. The more trained the dog is, the more padding can be removed to reduce the neck circumference.
The harness shape runs steeply upwards at the neck, so that the dog can hold its head high when running without feeling pressure on the cervical vertebrae (the opposite is the case with belt harnesses - these constantly put pressure on the dog's neck and make it impossible to run with its head held high!).
The only strap that runs across the back is only used to stabilize the harness when there is no pull on the leash. It lies loosely on the dog's back and has no function while pulling – depending on the dog's body shape, this strap is superfluous and can be removed.
Attention! All harnesses with special colours* cannot be exchanged or returned.
*Harnesses with special colors mean fabric color = petrol, wine red, pink, bright orange, bright yellow, olive, dark grey, royal blue, violet or beige. Harnesses with grey straps are also considered special harnesses.
